GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

B-Fast and Easy is a special bentonite that combines modern clarification concepts: it is quick and easy to use, while respecting the sensory properties of the batch to be treated.

It is unique due to its rapid preparation, the minimum amount of water required for swelling, the minimum amount of sediment and the effective protein stabilizing effect.

B-Fast and Easy can be used at low doses for the clarification of wines, even when rapid protein stabilization is required without negatively affecting the quality of the wine.

In red wines, it helps to remove pesticide residues: B-Fast and Easy is effective even at very low doses, helping to avoid loss of structure, color and aroma. Wine loss with lees and working with abundant and flocculent sediment can also be avoided.

In white wine stabilization, the results are even more interesting, thanks to the good protein removal effect and the extremely small amount of sediment, even at higher doses. When using high-activity bentonites, B-Fast and Easy can also be dosed to help form a more compact sediment.

In the case of must, it can be used in higher doses to promote static settling.

Mineral content: Calcium: 0.2-0.4% / Sodium: 0.4-0.7% / Iron: 50-100 ppm

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Final clarification of white and red wines: 5-30 g/hl.

White must: up to 150 g/hl for static settling.

Protein removal in wine: up to 150 g/hl.

For compact settling: 15-20 g/hL together with bentonite used for protein removal.

Dry method: slowly pour the granules into the amount to be treated during racking to ensure proper dispersion of the product. Allow to settle, then proceed with the next steps after 18-24 hours.

Wet method: slowly pour B-Fast and Easy into water at a ratio of 1:4, wait 5 minutes, then mix vigorously. The solution is formed quickly and, when homogeneous, can be added to the amount to be treated. Allow to settle, then proceed with the next steps after 18-24 hours.

In both methods, B-Fast and Easy works by contact, so the protein removal effect increases proportionally with the contact time. Therefore, if high protein removal is required, it is important to move the entire volume of the tank.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Store the product in a cool place, free from foreign odors and moisture. Reseal the opened package airtight after use.
