GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

S-GUM provides protection against various chemical and physical instabilities: it envelops hydrophobic micelles and prevents them from aggregating into large colloids, thereby avoiding precipitation problems in wine.

It can also be used for harmonization purposes in young wines, helping to mask excessive tannin content and restore proper balance. In well-balanced but rather thin wines, it helps to add a sense of fullness and body.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

40 - 100 g/hl to prevent tartaric acid instability.

50 - 200 g/hl or more to achieve the desired sensory effect.

It is recommended to carry out preliminary laboratory tests to determine the optimal dosage.

Add directly to the wine ready for bottling, before or after the final filtration, then gently mix into the batch to be treated.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Store the product in a cool, odor-free and moisture-free place. Always carefully reseal opened packages.
