GENERAL FEATURES
This special mix is like a superhero for wine! It helps stop the wine from getting spoiled by air.
S-FerroPrevent has three main helpers inside: something called ascorbic acid, citric acid, and potassium metabisulfite. When these three work together, they are even better at protecting the wine.
Ascorbic acid is like a cleaner that grabs the air, so when it's in the wine, it stops the good smells and colors from changing. It also helps keep tiny bits of metal in the wine from causing trouble. The potassium metabisulfite helps the ascorbic acid do its job even better, so you don't need as much. And the citric acid makes the ascorbic acid even better at grabbing those tiny bits of metal.
By using S-FerroPrevent, you can stop the wine from starting to go bad, which can make it lose its yummy taste. It's also really good at keeping the wine from losing its color, especially when tiny bits of metal are trying to change it. Because it grabs those metal bits, it can even help when winemakers are cleaning the wine in a special way.
It's best to use S-FerroPrevent right before the wine gets its final clean before going into bottles. This helps keep the wine fresh for a long time.
COMPOSITION
Citric acid (E330) 40% Potassium metabisulfite (E224) 40% L-ascorbic acid (E300) 20%
DOSAGE
- 10-25 g/hl for white wines
- 10-20 g/hl for red and rosé wines
APPLICATION
Mix this product in a little bit of the wine. Then, quickly add it to the rest of the wine that you are keeping away from the air. It's a good idea to use a machine to mix it well.
